Naarden Vesting
Naarden is a picturesque historic town located in an old fortress. Be sure to visit and walk through the narrow cobbled streets, learn about the eventful past in the Dutch Fortress Museum and sail through the moat. Naarden is one of the best preserved fortified cities and unique because of its star-shaped construction. After an exploration of the fortress and the protected nature reserve Naardermeer, you can relax at a restaurant in the fortification wall or in the nearby town of Bussum.
