Hotel Hilversum - De Witte Bergen
A Rich History in the Heart of Nature
In 1930, "De Witte Bergen" opened its doors, named after the nearby white sand dunes. The charming tearoom quickly became a popular stop for cyclists and hikers, who would enjoy refreshments before, during, or after their outings.
Bowling Alley Origins
Thanks to its growing popularity, the tearoom soon evolved into a café-restaurant with its own bowling alleys. The most significant transformation came in the 1960s, when the bowling lanes made way for hotel rooms.
Meetings, Celebrations & Dining
Today, Van der Valk Hotel Restaurant De Witte Bergen is a modern hospitality venue.
